Adopt

Kern County Animal Services has wonderful animals looking for good homes. If you think you’re ready for the responsibility of adding a pet to your family, visit one of our shelters or browse our adoptable animals online. With hundreds of available cats and dogs every day, we’re sure to have the right pet for your family. At Kern County Animal Services, you can find all breeds, ages, types and personality types!

Our kennels are open to the public Monday - Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Wednesdays from 2pm to 7pm. Closed on Sundays.

You DO NOT need an appointment to view our adoptable pets or to adopt them.
