Animal Services Commission

The Animal Services Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors and Animal Services staff and serves as a hearing body to hear appeals of specified actions taken by Animal Services staff.  The authority and structure of the Animal Services Commission are established by Kern County Ordinance Code Section  2.150.    Related Board Letter (PDF)     Full Ordinance

The Commission meets the third Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the Third Floor Multi-Purpose Room of the County Administrative Office, 1115 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California.
